Newest Fluidized Bed Dryer for polymer process

Here is a Fluidized Bed Dryer we delivered recently. It is manufactured with the latest design for polymer process, specifically PVC or ABS.
Basic configuration is made of filter, heater, intake/ exhaust blower, cyclone and scrubber as a collector in addition to the main body, Fluid Bed Dryer.

Fluidized Bed Dryer is equipped with an approx. 20% more effective (per bank) heat exchanger inside compared with a conventional one. As the required heat amount is provided by the heat exchanger, the heat exchanger area is increased to make the machine compact. By controlling the drain part from the heat exchanger, the drying material can be controlled its discharging temperature avoiding over drying.

As the required heat amount for drying is provided by transferring the heat from the exchanger, the required air amount for dryer is equal to the amount of the exhaust gas at saturated humidity point. Therefore. The dryer is operated at dew point. Because of it, the bypass pipe is provided to supply the part of hot air in order to maintain the dryer exhaust gas temperature above the dew point.
The bypass line also help accommodate the different particle size (when needed to change the raw material grade) through adjusting the hot air volume.

The raw material inlet is equipped with mechanical scatter to disperse the wet powder. It has a special rotor shape to scatter raw material evenly in the first chamber. It also prevents the wet powder from dropping and staying beneath the inlet port.

It is the recent tendency to clean the equipment in every grade change. NARA Fluidized Bed Dryer and its cyclone are equipped with CIP (Clean in Place) system. After the pre-cleaning each equipment, the whole system can be cleaned. Applying this procedure can clean the system in short time. In order to have a good cleaning result and reduce the cleaning time, double cleaning of pre and main is effective.
