Continuous vacuum dryer

Decompression drying is often used for drying high boiling point solvent or materials with low heat resistant temperature. Many industrialized vacuum dryers are batch type, such as Box Dryer, Double Cone Dryer, or Conical Dryer. As it is difficult to supply and discharge the powder or granular materials while maintaining the depressurized condition, the batch type vacuum dryer is the mainstream.
However, by providing newly developed valves for supplying and discharging as shown in below flow sheet, it is possible to construct a continuous vacuum dryer system. This flow sheet is an example of a vacuum continuous system in which Nara Vacuafluid Disk (NVD) is used.
Of course, there are some points to be noted in the design such as the pressure resistance design of the dryer body and the shaft seal structure, but it is a practical technology to use.
